About Nitya Martino
I am a Certified Structural Yoga Therapist™, Yoga Teacher, Stress Management Instructor/Peace Maintenance, Reflexologist and always an Artist for humanity. I began my journey/path into the Healing Arts about 2001, taking a certification course in Reflexology. This led me to begin practicing Yoga. I was looking for ways out of my physical pain and mental anguish following two car accidents, to be free of pain from those and other stressors I was going through in my life. In 2003 I received the first two of my eight, yoga teaching and Yoga Therapy certifications. One was my first 200-hour certification the other Cardiac Yoga™ . It was then I realized I was on the path I wanted and needed to be on.—to help people be free of pain. Therapeutic forms of Yoga really resonated with me on a deep core level. I have had the great blessings to study Raja Yoga with Rev. Jaganath Carerra, Radiant Child Yoga™ with Shakta Kaura Kalsa, Cardiac Yoga™ with Dr. Mala Cunningham, Yoga for the Special Child™ with Sonia Sumar and most recently and humbly Structural Yoga Therapy™ and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy™ with Mukunda Stiles. It appears all roads have led me to Structural Yoga Therapy™ a Yoga that allows me to teach people to learn and help themselves. Moving pain free and into more balance of mind body and Spirit.
My goal is to be of service in
• STRUCTURAL YOGA THERAPY™
• YOGA
• PEACE MAINTAINANCE
• MEDITATION
• REFLEXOLOGY
