Breath is Life
Lets talk about the Breath and its importance in sustaining our body’s holistic Eco-system.

The balancing of the breath is a calming and centering force that can be used when needed for our health maintenance. Breath flow and focus on our pranayama (control of the Prana (Prana = Life force)) allows us to regulate and activate the parasympathetic nervous system allowing one to become calm, focused and in the moment. Practices are simple and when practiced regularly become second nature.
When an individual is going through stressors a more focused mindful approach is needed as the actual physiology of the body reacts to these stressors, here is where your regular diligent pranayama practice comes to the rescue. I recommend practicing while you are in a calm state and able to maintain the practice, so when the situation arises that it is more crucial you can override the physiology with the Breathing practice you have mastered.
